INK MEETS PAPER in Anthropologie!

2012 is off to an fanatstic start. Our Confetti Love You card is available NATIONWIDE in Anthropologie stores. We really couldn’t ask for a better start to the year and are happy to be a part of a store that, while nationwide, still appreciates and recognizes small, artisanal lines.

For our confetti cards, not only did we hand feed each card into the press, but also we hand assembled each each card, adding a pinch of heart-shaped confetti to the vellum envelope and sliding the card and envelope into a cellophane sleeve. While it’s definitely a lot of work, I love knowing that I’ve touched every card, and I love knowing that our cards are bringing smiles and love to so many people.

Inspiration: Aluminum Christmas Tree Card

Jamie and I are big fans of midcentury modern. We live in a 1959 ranch house and appreciate the clean lines of a modern dwelling. Several years ago Jamie found an Evergleam aluminum Christmas tree on eBay (major score!). As recent homeowners, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity for a modern Christmas tree, so the Evergleam Christmas tree has been with us for several Christmases now.

With that in mind, our aluminum tree card has a special place in our hearts. Not only does it have a bit of nostalgia with our families (I have a photograph of my mom around the age of 10 standing next to her family’s aluminum tree), but it’s the vintage tree that we pull out each year and decorate. We love how well designed it is– it doesn’t matter the branch, it just fits according to the trunk hole. And we love that a single-color ornament can make such an impact.

INK MEETS PAPER was featured on Design*Sponge! We’ve been following Grace’s blog since Jamie’s days at SCAD, so it’s such an honor to be featured. I particularly love this quote from the article: “With so many technological advances that take us away from the handmade world, it’s nice to see one that allows you to reconnect with the people (and process) behind design.”

North Charleston Magazine: Fall/Winter 2010

North Charleston Magazine kicked off its premier issue by highlighting the “People of Park Circle.” From artists and restauranteurs to dentists and boot camp coaches, the magazine did a great job capturing the diversity and eclectic nature of the neighborhood. It was an absolute honor to be included, and we had so much fun on the photo shoot with husband-and-wife photographers Amelia and Dan.
