Our process
Made with intention in Greenville, SC.
Every card here is letterpress printed at our studio: ink mixed to formula by hand and pressed into thick cotton paper one color at a time. Printing this way is a lot like writing by hand. It’s slow, it’s deliberate, and something made with intention invites the same in return. Just like your words!

All of our cards are blank on the inside. Why? Because your words matter. Sitting down to write a message inside a card is one of our favorite parts; it makes the card yours, in your unique words and handwriting.
Handwriting isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence. Every design here is hand-lettered by Allison and then letterpress printed into thick cotton paper. It’s delightfully tactile with just the right amount of texture for a beautiful writing experience. It’s ready for your words… in your handwriting.
Make it Yours
Tuck a photo inside. Standard 3.5×5″ photo prints fit perfectly. It’s a card and a keepsake in one envelope.
Write the memory. Share a line or two about why the year was better because of them. Include a detail about a shared experience. If you’re thanking them for hosting a party, be specific about what made that party memorable. Holiday cards don’t have to be generic… these are friends and family! Let them know what their relationship means to you.
Order early, write slowly. November orders leave room for shipping and leave plenty of evenings to write and address them.
Keep a box on hand. Neighbors, teachers, or the friend who drops off cookies, December has a way of surprising you.

Nope — every card is blank inside, on purpose. Your words matter, and the blank interior is what makes each card yours: your unique words, in your handwriting.
How many cards come in a boxed set?
Six cards of a single design, with gray square-flap envelopes. Every design on this page is also available as a single card paired with our signature INK MEETS PAPER envelope.
What makes these different from other boxed Christmas cards?
Each design is hand-lettered by Allison — no fonts, ever — and letterpress printed one color at a time on antique machines in Greenville, SC. The ink is pressed into thick cotton paper, leaving an impression you can see and feel. It’s like sending a little gift in the mail.
When should I order Christmas cards to mail on time?
Sooner than you’d think! Ordering in early November leaves room for shipping delays and gives you plenty of time to write and address them all. Checkout shows a promised delivery date for your address before you place the order.
